From day one of the Workshop I identified my weakness in correcting the problems that I was facing in my business. I realised that goal setting and systematic project planning is directly linked to success. I also realised the crucial difference between trying to get a job done and actually going out there and doing everything that it takes to make it work. Defining my goals and moving towards them to ensure success is an important behavioural change that I have implemented in my day to day dealings.
About

I am looking for healthcare solutions for rural India, working through a for profit- social enterprise. I am from Burdwan district in West Bengal and I am currently working in the rural areas of West Bengal. My target audience is the poor who can not afford to travel to centers in district towns and cities for health care. My USP is to provide reliable and unbiased medical information to them. I even arrange internet consultations for them with establised doctors in South India.

What can I give to the community

I would like to spread awareness about the brilliant benefits of the Workshop in the forums that I am involved in, like the Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce.

What I wish to get from the community

I would like to use this platform of the Empretec Community to reach out to governments, starting with West Bengal, to come on board in our venture as stake holders. We need corporate social responsibility linkages to reach out to poor people in the North and the North East to provide them with basic health care. The West Bengal government is taking a keen interest in in promoting the Empretec programme. This is a very good sign for entrepreneurs like us.
